Brown-Baker, MA, LPC, LPC/S
What is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)?
Catreace holds a
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology with a Concentration in Counseling
from Coker College. She also holds a Master's of Arts in Counseling
from Webster University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state
of South Carolina; as well as, a LPC/S. She has worked at various social service agencies, hospice and a hospital as a Mental Health Counselor and Case
Manager. She has provided counseling services and support to individuals
and families with a variety of mental health concerns.
Catreace is rostered
with Project Best as a Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (TF-CBT) through the guidance of the Medical University of South Carolina
(MUSC) to provide evidence-based therapy to children and adolescents who have
suffered trauma or abuse.
Nowadays, Catreace is a part of the Disaster Mental Health Unit with The
American Red Cross. Our local chapter is Carolina Lowcountry. Catreace is a member of the Church of Christ.
